On June 14, 2011, Matt launched a garlic dip company after graduating college, starting an 8-year journey of research and development. They began at the Minneapolis farmers market, left a job at Target HQ, and moved back in with their parents. With their dad’s support, they leased a commercial kitchen and made thousands of dips by hand with their mom. Facing numerous challenges, they became a MN Cup finalist, taught themselves food science, and secured a dream co-packer, eventually getting into Whole Foods Midwest. With family help, they executed in-store demos and navigated COVID challenges. The journey has been tough but rewarding, and they look forward to sharing their story on "How I Built This."
