My brother and I grew up surrounded by the beauty of Vermont's rolling hills and lush forests. It's a place that fosters a deep connection with nature, and here, people care about where their food comes from and how their actions impact the environment. We felt a responsibility to protect this special place. One winter, fueled by post-ski beers and brainstorming, we noticed how much single-use plastic, especially water bottles, were being tossed around. We also saw people going out of their way to recycle aluminum cans. That's when the idea struck us: can water! Instead of trying to convince people to recycle plastic better, we'd offer a convenient, sustainable alternative. Cans are infinitely recyclable, and aluminum recycling is everywhere thanks to... well, beer! With Linnae's business savvy and my background in environmental policy, we turned this passionate idea into a reality.
