The Ugly Co. was born on a tractor in Central California. Every season, farms throw away millions of pounds of fresh produce due to minor cosmetic imperfections or market conditions. After seeing this ugly truth first-hand, I was determined to find a better way. We work closely with other Central Valley farmers to give new life to funny looking fruits and remind folks everywhere to never judge a fruit by its cover.
